WHAT IS DUNN GOOD?

Dunn Good Works LLC is the consulting studio of Ryan Dunn, MBA. It exists to provide fractional marketing and communications leadership for mission-driven organizations navigating complex narrative environments.

Dunn Good’s mission is simple: to do good work. I want to end each day knowing that my efforts have contributed to something constructive, ethical, and meaningful - knowing I Dunn Good.

Dunn Good exists to provide marketing and communications leadership to organizations who care about the well-being of their consumers and strive to make a positive impact for the greater good of humanity. 

Communication isn’t just messaging. It’s trust. It’s safety. It’s alignment. It’s culture. It’s impact. It’s leadership.

In a fractured environment, organizations don’t just need marketing. They need a narrative steward, a strategic translator, and a communications partner who can operate across teams, across channels, and across moments of uncertainty.

PRICING PHILOSOPHY

My work is built on integrity, care, and alignment. That includes how I price. I collaborate with organizations across different stages of growth, and I recognize that needs and capacities shift over time. Rather than offering rigid tiers, I develop custom scopes rooted in what will create the most impact. Every engagement is designed to be respectful of your budget while honoring the value of the work.

Following a discovery call, I’ll propose a scope and pricing structure that reflects the level of strategy, production, and ongoing support required.

I offer project-based work, short-term partnerships, and longer-term retainers depending on what will serve you best.

WHO WE ARE

My name is Ryan Dunn, and Dunn Good Works LLC is my consulting studio. I bring over a decade of experience in: Integrated Marketing Communications, Executive Messaging, Crisis Communications, Community-Centered Storytelling, Content Creation & Social Media Strategy, as well as Experiential & Event Production.

My background spans entertainment, media, tech, and public health in roles at: Broadway Across America (The John Gore Organization), MTV and VH1 (Viacom/Paramount), Motional (Hyundai Motor Group/Aptiv) and now, Fenway Health.

Alongside my professional experience, I hold an MBA with concentrations in Marketing and Management. My work is guided by cultural and emotional intelligence, with a focus on building communications that resonate deeply with their intended audiences — not just through strategy and messaging, but through empathy, authenticity, and alignment with community realities.

Ryan’s work is informed by cultural experiences at the intersection of LGBTQIA+ and Black and Brown communities through his leadership in integrated marketing at VH1; gender equity advocacy through partnerships with the Association of National Advertisers (ANA)’s #SeeHer campaign during his time at MTV and VH1; government relations and policy communications work at Motional; and LGBTQIA+ healthcare research and equity through his volunteer engagements at The Fenway Institute and Boston’s Community Action Board, in addition to ongoing marketing and communications support for Fenway Health, which supports care for the LGBTQIA+ community as well as HIV positive individuals, those suffering from substance abuse, vulnerable immigrants, and folks experiencing homelessness.

My husband and business partner, Jabari Coy-Gooding, supports me internally with financial and operational support — ensuring stability and sustainability for our partner organizations.

Together, we are the Dunn-Gooding’s, and the spirit of our partnership is embedded in the values behind Dunn Good — work that is grounded in integrity, intention, and care.
